 I am using Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit.

 I like to run pidgin in a remote X shell, and after a while the console
 will be flooded with messages saying:

 GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_poll_write_control: assertion `set != NULL'
 failed"

 then it will crash.

 My guess is that it is a sound problem. I have since disabled sound and
 that seems to have solved the issue for now.
