 I use the Log Reader plugin to point to my old Trillian logs with full
 success, but is there any way to run a process fully converts those chat
 records into the text-based Pidgin chat logs so that I wouldn't have to
 keep the original Trillian-based chat logs folder around?

 Futher, my eventual goal is to convert all Pidgin chat text files
 (including those gathered from the Trillian logs) and export them into a
 format that can be opened as emails in Thunderbird for an IMAP import into
 GMail to have all of my chat logs in one place.
