 When a msn contact adds me and I accept him in Pidgin, he appears in my
 contact list as offline, and we can't neither see each other online, nor
 IM each other. It's as if the buddy wasn't really added at all.
 If I subsequently login to MSN with Pidgin from another machine I don't
 see the newly accepted buddy at all. Also tried with Trillian, Meebo,
 eBuddy, WL Web Messenger.

 Additionally, if I login to my Hotmail webpage and look at the contact
 list, I see the new buddy only in "All Contacts" but not in the
 "Messenger" contact list (right below the All Contacts tab), unlike all my
 other contacts.

 After I entirely delete the new contact from Hotmail and I have the remote
 buddy re-request my buddy-ship and re-accept it from another client (i.e.
 Meebo) I get to see it correctly everywhere.
