 Hi.

 It seems to me that currently support for XMPP domains having multiple DNS
 SRV RRs is pretty bad.

 1) E.g. when a XMPP server goes down, pidgin gives you some "shutdown
 server" message. However, it would be much better if pidgin would already
 know in advance whether multiple hosting servers are specified (via DNS
 SRV RR, or multiple A or AAAA RRs) and automatically connect to one of
 them, without noting interruption.
 Only if this doesn't work. A "logout" should be displayed.

 2) Even if one triggers such a reconnect manually (after e.g. server A
 went down) pidgin does often not simply connect to server B.
 It seems to me, that it has cached DNS info, but only of one entry, thus
 trying to only reconnect to that one, completely ignoring other servers.
