 I'm experiencing the same problems using Pidgin 2.6.4-1.fc10 on a x86_64
 linux kernel.
 The problem only occurs when IMs are sent to someone using Office
 Communicator. About only 1/3 of messages sent go through. Receiving
 messages from Office Communicator seem to be no problem.

 The same person can be reached just fine via the original Windows
 Messenger from a win 7 machine, so this does not seem to be some issue
 with their corporate network.
