 When I attempt to type in any window on Pidgin, it replaces lowercase
 anything with 0123456789 sequence, and uppercase with the )!@#$%^&*(
 sequence.  It used to do this occationally, and I would click out of the
 window and back into it and it would go back to normal.  Now it appears
 stuck; no matter what I do that happens.
 Sometimes at the beginning of a conversation, it will allow a single
 character to get through.  You can see this in the log.
