 I have the same problem on Win7 using the official download. Noticed it in
 both 2.7.10 and 2.7.11. I'm not sure if it happened previous or not.

 Here's a video showing exactly what happens. It seems to be protocol
 agnostic for me, AIM, XMPP, MSN, and Yahoo are all affected for me. It is
 quite frustrating when trying to right-click or even click on a buddy to
 chat, etc.
