 I use pidgin at work.  We have a jabber server for interal development and
 an irc room for external support.  I want the Message Notification plugin
 to alert me for messages in one room but not the other.  When I enable
 chat window notification, I get too much irc spam.  When I disable it, I
 miss out on jabber messages.

 I think the happy medium is to enable notifications per account.  Per chat
 or per user could work as well, but that seems like finer grained control
 than pidgin aims for.

 Is this something pidgin can offer or should I switch to something like
 irsii that offers finer grained controls, but at the expense of my free
 time?
