 idk, when i click accept the certficate it reconnects right after.

 i'll upload a screenshot and paste the link soon as is happens, but its
 really just the popup with that ext that needs to accept the certificate,
 nothing much else. i figured it was the ICQ server sending it and to
 disconect other ICQ's with my user/pwd at the old ip adr.

 its just a certificate that popsup, but it needs to be handle by pdgin
 instead of waiting for user input. So yes the user has to accept it,
 otherwise pidgin doesnt get back online. it should be done automatically,
 invisibly.

 just curious but could it be a "feature" of my 2-Wire (brand) modem ?

 i've never heard of that but there's allot of things companies do to
 bother ppl i guess.



 ps: might want to change the thread options from 2stay closed" to reopened
 and dunno if u can allow attachments, i could upload the screenshot next
 time isntead of pointing to flickr.
