 For the record (I'm sure you know this already), XMPP already builds a
 shared lib (libxmpp.so) for the lone prpl (libjabber.so) to link against.

 That said, disk is cheap enough that we *could* look at building a
 complete prpl for each "variant" instead of a shared lib and a stub prpl.
 I don't care either way, myself.
