New description:

 In 2.4.0 the animated typing indicator was removed although many users
 would have liked to keep it (including me). The attached file will give
 the users an option to choose between the in-line notification and the
 classic animated notification or (since I found my mistake) activate both
 at the same time,

 In the patch I included the German translation for the new buttons, too.
