Comment:

 You can't build both versions from the same tree without proper cleaning
 before and after each build.  Remove all the files you copied into the
 w32api/include directory from your host Linux system and try from a clean
 source tree (ideally re-extracted from the tarball) that has nothing other
 than the local.mak file added.
