 The ''active keyboard layout'' ist '''DE German (Switzerland), Swiss
 German''' and the ''selected input method'' is '''System'''.

 Under Windows to type the capital umlauts one presses {{{CapsLook}}} + the
 lower case umlaut.

 CapsLock + ä -> Ä
 CapsLock + ö -> Ö
 CapsLock + ü -> Ü
 }}}

 If I type a text with upper case umlauts in Notepad and copy it from there
 and paste it to Pidgin, it works. But typing the upper case umlauts in
 Pidgin is not working.
