 Hate to bring this back from the dead but the exact same thing is
 happening to me now.  I'm on Win 7 Pro and I apparently hit some key
 combination and can't get it back to the way it was before.  I've deleted
 the .purple folder in my user profile and reinstalled and it still has the
 same issue I have no idea what's causing it.  I'm attaching a screenshot.
