 Since getting my new router, I have been unable to connect to my gmail.com
 account through pidgin.  At first I thought it was
 [http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/Protocol%20Specific%20Questions#gtalk_srv
 this issue] but I don't believe my router is acting as a DNS server
 (there's no option to tell it to do so in the router), and in fact is set
 to acquire DNS automatically from my IP.
