 I don't understand why it's doing this, it's only with IRC in Pidgin. I am
 not wirelessly connected to the router, even though it has that
 capability, I am connected through ethernet. It's a D-LINK DIR-601. My ISP
 is Comcast that us DCHHP (not PPoEe) that is always connected, and doesn't
 need "Keep Alive" or "Timeout" settings.
