 Running XP sp3
 Pidgin 2.8.0 (libpurple 2.8.0)

 When I chat with someone on MSN, their reply always comes back in a font
 size about -6pts smaller than the other text in the window. Up-scaling all
 the text makes it readable, but makes the other text huge.

 Under Linux, the system is top notch.
