 If anyone encounters this error, please:
  1. Log out of Pidgin
  1. Log in with the official Windows AIM or ICQ program
  1. Perform the exact same action which failed
  1. Wait a few seconds
  1. Log out of Windows AIM or ICQ then log back in
  1. Verify that your change is still there
  1. Leave a comment here stating whether it worked or not
