 We have a customer that would like pidgin to provide conversation
 threading in XMPP. We are requesting that the <thread> element in messages
 is included. This would require the client to include an existing thread
 id if sent from an external client and create a new thread id if one has
 not been assigned to the current conversation.

 IE:

 <message type="chat" xml:lang="en" id="sd48" to="toUser at domain/resource"
 from="fromUser at domain/resource"><body>I really would like it if pidgin
 used XMPP conversation threading.</body><active
 xmlns="http://jabber.org/protocol/chatstates"
 /><thread>394b18d3222d4ceaaac442635f6dbf06</thread></message>
