Comment:

 What type of mobile user are you sending to?  Is it a phone number in the
 form of "+19195551234"?  Or is it the screen name of someone who has
 mobile forwarding turned on?  Or is it a user signed into a mobile IM
 program?

 Is the person you are messaging on your buddy list?  Are you able to IM
 them when they're not mobile?  Are you able to IM other mobile users, or
 do you have this problem with everyone?
