 I have about 16 accounts in Pidgin - sometimes, for whatever reason, one
 account might stall during login (without actually failing and therefore
 showing an error) and for the remainder of the session, Pidgin's
 notification area icon (as well as the status one at the bottom) shows the
 "connecting" icon/text.

 To figure out the problematic account, I have to go into the Account
 Management dialog and gradually untick accounts until the Pidgin icon
 returns to normal.

 Perhaps it would be possible to put spinners in the account management
 window when an account is considered to be in the "logging in" state and
 therefore rapidly identify which accounts are stalling.
