 When having an XMPP group chat with the google account the other
 participants handles seem as what looks like some sort of hash instead of
 the username/e-mail/nickname that should be.

 Screenshot attached. I'm the last one on the list, my username is
 displayed but the others does not.
 When chatting with individuals the handles are displayed correctly.
