 I can confirm what ben_p is seeing.  On a single Windows 7 machine using
 Pidgin 2.10.0, I try to send a 3KB text file from one account to another.
 Occasionally, the transfer just waits and then fails, but more often,
 Pidgin completely crashes with a runtime error.  I repeated this with
 AutoAccept plugin turned on and off.

 Usually the resultant file is empty after the crash, but sometimes, the
 file transfer makes progress but crashes part way through, and I can see
 that the contents of the text file are correct some percentage of the way
 through, and corrupted thereafter.  That must mean it's semi-working.
