 I've updated the information on Googlecode including the dUP 2 patcher
 script file which I used to create the patch: http://code.google.com/p
 /pidgin-liboscar-nospam/

 The warnings on virustotal are because:
  - the original patcher was UPX packed (I've submitted a non packed
 version)
  - a binary search and replace is often used in malware/cracks, so some
 virus scanners report it as false positive

 Regarding Windows: No, I can't supply a .patch file, as I'm binary
 patching the liboscar.dll here. Patching the sources is up to you guys,
 this is just a quick fix for people annoyed by the problem.
