 When I start pidgin, my computer screen blacks out for a few seconds, and
 then everything looks "cryptic skeleton" like.  That's the best way I can
 describe it.  I tried Uninstalling, reinstalling but nothing fixes it.  I
 have to adjust the screen resolution just to be able to see my screen.  I
 can upload a picture of before and after Pidgin is started if there is
 somewhere to do so.  Pidgin is the only IM client I like to use, but it's
 starting to hurt my eyes looking at the screen the way it looks.  Please
