 Currently, you can only view chat logs of chats you had using Pidgin. The
 chat log system can be extended to view logs of past chats you had using
 other chat clients if such chat logs are available somewhere and can be
 accessed. For example, Google allows you to download chat logs from Gmail
 account via IMAP.
