 My GLX was broken.  This caused Clutter to fail.  Pidgin could perhaps
 handle this more gracefully than crashing with a segmentation fault.

 Pidgin 2.10.2 has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.

 I now fixed my GLX and Pidgin doesn't crash any more.
