Comment:

 Pidgin is just a client to connect to multiple IM services.  It has no
 centralized service you can use to point a widget to.  If you want to
 offer people the ability to contact you, they can use any of the IM
 services you are using with Pidgin.  If any of those services have widgets
 or apps of their own, you can put them on your web site and direct
 visitors to send messages to your IM name.  For example, you could find an
 IRC java applet and have it automatically join your IRC channel when the
 user opens it.  This is outside the scope of what we do.

 In the future, please use the support at pidgin.im mailing list to ask
 questions about Pidgin, rather than filing tickets.  Tickets are used for
 reporting bugs or submitting changes to Pidgin.
