 This behaviour is really unexpected.

 Pidgin sends a command string correctly if the first word beginning with
 {{{/}}} contains another {{{/}}}:

 {{{/foo/}}} works.
 {{{/foo bar/}}} doesn't.


 It seems to me, that it was intended for {{{//something}}} to do what I
 was expecting but is just not implemented right.

 Also, it's very common to use this form of command escaping (see gajim,
 xchat, gnome-xchat, irssi, ...).
