 Note that Adium is including a meanwhile patch:

 If pidgin compiles its own depenedencies, we could go that route.
 Otherwise, someone'd need to be able to cross-compile for windows so we
 could try to get an actual patched meanwhile release. If anyone can get a
 cross-compile going for meanwhile, let me know.
