 I can understand him here. To average users like us, visual appeal matters
 a lot when it comes to interfaces. (Incidentally, where I'm from, we're
 fond of using the buddy icon as a status)

 So is there any chance of this getting accepted? I can try to fix it to
 cover all the use cases, but I don't want to research the documentation
 all for naught.
