 Hi,

 I noticed that a very important feature should be there for Pidgin. I
 added a google talk account and activated the option named 'new mail
 notification'.

 However unfortunately, this option has no relation with displaying a popup
 with a little quotation of the beginning of the mail for instance, or at
 least the object of the mail.

 If this option could be implemented, Pidgin will truely fulfill his goal
 of compacting all fonctionnalities of a messages handlers.

 There is a plugin 'guification', but it doesn't work and doesn't use
 libnotify-osd. libnotify-osd is essential (to fit the current theme and so
 on)
