 The Pidgin source doesn't contain the patched meanwhile code (or the
 meanwhile code at all).

 necessary for debugging this kind of issue.

 The [/static/win32/meanwhile-1.0.2_daa3-win32.zip
 meanwhile-1.0.2_daa3-win32.zip] from the [wiki:BuildingWinPidgin] page
 contains all of the patches that were applied as well as the binary.
