 The new cert seems to be signed by:
 Issuer: C=US, ST=Virginia, L=Dulles, O=America Online Inc., CN=AOL Member
 CA

 which is not part of /usr/share/purple/ca-certs/ (or some intermediate
 cert is missing).

 Anyway,.. the whole design with shipping a pidgin specific
 /usr/share/purple/ca-certs/ is kinda broken, IMHO.
