 This feature should be implemented. I'm connecting to my own ZNC server,
 and at a first glance, in "semi-technical user mode", I don't have any
 idea why Pidgin is complaining to me that my own server's certificate has
 expired. I never created one in the first place. Without digging deep into
 this issue, I don't know what this warning means.

 Which means there's room to improve the user friendliness in this
 scenario.
