Pidgin currently saves certificates in mixed case based on the hostname
apparently. So I wind up in some cases getting

"Lync-web.domain.com" and "lync-web.domain.com" files in that directory
 for the same cert.

In addition to being inefficient, this causes problems when that dir is
shared with dropbox to between a windows box and linux, even if the dir
doesn't really get used on the windows box.

Would it be possible to change pidgin to have it force the filenames to
lowercase when storing things that are based on the hostname since
certificate comparison should not care about upper/lowercase?
