 FWIW I used a version of this patch in ticket 12617, where a more generic
 method of sending DTMF had been implemented but it lacked a UI. However,
 that ticket is three years old and unloved — and the ultimate target there
 appears to have been Jabber support, which I don't care about and can't
 easily test. So perhaps we should leave that ticket for the Jabber part,
 and move the generic part (media_dtmf.2.patch in ticket 12617) to this
 bug?
