 pidgin should perform revocation checking of X.509 certificates, if a
 certificate contains an OCSP AIA reference, and the SSL/TLS toolkit used
 supports checking.

 NSS does support OCSP checking, and I'm trying to contribute a patch that
 enhances pidgin.
