 Yes, I did get it to work again. I recompiled using the latest Strawberry
 Perl CORE DLL just recently again too. Before doing so it's worth running
 pidgin with debug option on the command line to see that you haven't
 introduced a library conflict in your PATH, ie newer version of GTK etc..
