 When I try to start pidgin by entering 'pidgin' in a terminal, I get:

 (Pidgin:1412): Clutter-CRITICAL **: Unable to initialize Clutter: Failed
 to connected to any renderer due to constraints
 Pidgin 2.10.9 has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.
 This is a bug in the software and has happened through
 no fault of your own.

 When I try to run pidgin in gdb to get a backtrace, the output is:

 I'm on Debian Jessie, fully upgraded.
 Pidgin worked last night and this morning, but started behaving like this
 after a reboot (to fix other issues).
