 I have a client with an apparent issue with Pidgin 2.10.9 (which they use
 to interact with web clients). They were on earlier versions for about a
 year before this started happening. The user can't open an Excel
 spreadsheet with macros or print on his Win 7 workstation after a reboot
 until he first uninstalls and reinstalls Pidgin. Everything then works
 okay until the next reboot, when it breaks again and requires another
 uninstall/reinstall. He's tried rolling back to an earlier version of
 Pidgin but this does not help. We've tried some basic Windows
 troubleshooting such as starting/restarting Excel and the print spooler
 service. Any ideas? Maybe a library that was updated and doesn't get
 rolled back with a standard uninstall/reinstall of an earlier build of
 Pidgin?
