 On receiving XMPP stanzas containing an <img> tag, Pidgin will display the
 link to the image's "src" by itself, or else, if provided, the "alt" text
 with a hyperlink set to "src".

 This is by no means what <img> should actually render as: An image. As
 custom smileys are supported, images shouldn't be too complicated to
 implement.
