 Hi,

 I have been using Pidgin for some years now but this is the first time it
 is happening. I can reproduce it on my system. This is what happens:
 I open the window for a friend and I paste the following link:
 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUxCh9favQ4&google_comment_id=z130ijl4jx3dthlpj04cfv1o4uylwbvyc20

 Then I press <space>. The line gets broken, the window tries to resize the
 text input field, but pidgin freezes. In System Monitor I see it taking
 96% CPU and leaking memory (going from 40 Mb to 230+ in small steps). The
 only way to end it is to kill it (not terminate, kill).

 I believe it is UI related, so I have not tried to modify the window size
 as it might not be reproducible. Other links work fine.

 I generated a backtrace and a debug file while crashing. Note that for the
 backtrace I had to stop the program after the freeze (ctrl+z), otherwise
 bt is empty. Some function names are missing because the libs are
 stripped. I tried to install the -dbg version (e.g. libgtk-3-0-dbg) but
 it's not used...
