 Running OpenSuse 13.2 under VMWare 6.0.7 build-2844087.

 Continually getting segfault message upon startup.

 Pidgin had worked perfectly up until a few days ago.  We updated
 everything (i.e., OpenSuse & VMWare) and the problem persists.

 Backtrace attached.
