Comment (by QuLogic):

 * the select-avatar icon doesn't show up in the lower right-hand corner of
 the main window, although the space for it remains
   * Could be the coordinates for painting the widget are incorrect.
  * after a little while, the status bar at the bottom of the main window
 moves upward, leaving some empty gray space below it
   * This may be related to !WebKit's terrible line-height stuff
  * chat windows' text input box is far too small and has a strange ugly
 border
   * I thought Masca wrote something to fix the small input box. The border
 is probably due to using some older HIG recommendations about borders and
 such.
  * the window resulting from choosing the "Get Info" option for a buddy is
 about as small as it could be
   * Again, !WebKit is probably not requesting much (if any) space.

 You can probably ask Masca about the !WebKit stuff. I remember enough to
 point in that direction, but not the specifics.
