 Hey, thanks for the response. No, I'm not using any similar applications
 on this computer. Everything else internet related works fine though. I
 didn't change any settings in pidgin, I just downloaded the client and
 entered up to date server information, username, and password. I'm
 thinking that it might be an issue with my router. Everything works fine
 on the laptop I use at another location through a different router.
