 I just installed kubuntu 15.04 and pidgin is pasting wrong text from my
 konsole. When I copy for example the word "example" on the console and I
 paste it in pidgin I get as a result:
 {{{
    Konsole output     example

 }}}
 i.e.: there is a leading "   Konsole output     " text, and a trailing
 line with some spaces in it
