 Hello. I'm a big fan of pidgin and have gotten many of my friends to use a
 customised version. So thank you for pidgin, and thanks taking the time to
 read this.

 My concern is '''nick_colors''' in '''gtkconv.c''' - Would it be possible
 (in any ad-hoc manner) to set them all to grey? Or for a normal user to
 change the default colors in '''gtknickcolors.h'''?

 I realise that I could edit the source (the generating function) to solve
 this problem, I am however using a portable version and my c is not good
 enough to make a full-on plugin.

 I'd rather the nicks would all be grey. Is it possible to simply edit that
 using the '''gtkrc''' file?

 A similar question was asked 8 years ago, but I am bringing it up to ask
 again given how much pidgin has evolved since then, and how minimalism and
 customisability are so popular.

 Perhaps the '''Pidgin GTK+ THeme Control''' Plugin could have an option
 that can globally set '''nick_color''' to a constant?
