 I've downloaded the pidgin-2.10.11.tar.gz and pidgin-2.10.11.tar.gz.asc
 files from sourceforge, and when I went to verify the key, it looked like
 the key was revoked.

 $ gpg --verify pidgin-2.10.11.tar.gz.asc pidgin-2.10.11.tar.gz
 gpg: Signature made Sun 23 Nov 2014 06:42:24 PM EET using DSA key ID
 4C292FCC

 Seeing the 4C292FCC key like this on both https://sks-keyservers.net/i/
 and https://pgp.mit.edu/ :

 pub  1024D/4C292FCC 2003-02-04 *** KEY REVOKED *** [not verified]

 Btw sha256sums on the 2 files that came down to me  are:

 So, not sure what's up here.
