 Yep definitely I can confirm that this happens 100% of the time when I put
 my laptop to sleep, and then wake up with a new monitor/window
 configuration.  At that point Pidgin becomes unresponsive and cannot be
 killed.

 Please let me know if there is any further information I can gather for
 you...
